Probably not, right? Learning the subtleties of proper nutrition and
healthful eating takes time as well. In my twenty plus years of practice, I have come to realize that one session with a new client feels incomplete. You receive a great deal of information in our first visit, and I want to ensure that you feel comfortable with what you have learned, and have time to "digest" the material.
My most successful clients are those who commit to the change process and follow up. For this reason, I encourage my "New Client Consultation" to include two sessions. In the initial visit, we will create the optimal plan for you based on your current state of health and
goals. We'll also agree upon concrete steps toward putting your new lifestyle
plan into motion. We schedule the second session to occur 2-3 weeks later in
order to assess your progress, review any labs you have done, tweak your plan if
needed and further address issues beyond what we covered in our first meeting.
